B.Sc Food Science & Management
Program Overview
The Undergraduate Program in Food Science and Management at M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women, Chennai, was established in 2008 (formerly Nutrition, Food Service Management, and Dietetics). This dynamic program blends Food Science, Nutrition, and Management, providing students with a strong scientific foundation and business acumen to meet the evolving demands of the food industry.
Spanning three years (six semesters), the curriculum integrates industry-relevant skills, scientific expertise, managerial competencies, and clinical nutrition proficiency. With hands-on training, industry collaborations, and experiential learning, graduates are equipped with the technical knowledge and leadership abilities necessary for innovation and success in the food sector.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates from any stream who have completed 10+2 can apply, with preference given to those with Chemistry with Biology or Home Science.
