B.A. Sociology

The program aims to provide an understanding of social institutions and social issues within diverse societies in a global context and to apply sociological perspectives to these areas. A Sociology major prepares students for a wide range of career paths, including academics, the private sector, and the public sector. As Sociology is concerned with social transformation and development, it also inculcates entrepreneurial skills among the young girls. Above all, our students have the accreditation to clear competitive examinations conducted by the state as well as the central government.
