M.A. HRM

Master of Arts (M.A.) in Human Resource Management is a two-year Post Graduate Management course. The course provides theoretical knowledge and practical instruction of contemporary human resource management concepts. The department has qualified professors and industry experts to nurture and develop the students.

Eligibility for the Course:

• Candidates should have passed a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 60% from the University of Madras or any other University or a qualification accepted by the Syndicate of the University of Madras as equivalent thereto.
• Students are shortlisted and selected based on Group discussion and personal interview

Scope of the Course:

• Jobs in corporate houses, multinational companies, public and private sector industries.
• Jobs relating to recruitment, training and development, performance appraisal, compensation management, managing labor relations and implementing career development programs in HR Departments.
• Options of going for higher degree programs such as M.Phil., PhD., and further research studies
• Join teaching jobs in the colleges after having qualifying NET/SLET Eligibility tests.
