B.Com Corporate Secretaryship, established in 1995, is one of the premier programs offered by the college, to enable the students to become excellent corporate personnel and unparalled ethical professionals.. The Department is ranked No.2 in the B.com Course Ranking Survey 2024. Our Commerce Programmes are ranked among top five in the city and among top sixty Nationwide by India Today Magazine (July 2022), The program aims to equip students with the skills to take on challenges in the corporate world while providing opportunities to innovate and execute new ideas. It is a three-year undergraduate degree program comprising of six semesters, focusing on areas such as Company Law and Secretarial Practice, Drafting and Conveyancing, and Corporate Due Diligence. The program also assists students in preparing for professional courses such as Company Secretary, Cost and Management Accountant, and Chartered Accountant. A unique feature of the program is that students independently operate a Model Joint Stock Company to bridge the gap between theory and practice. Additionally, the program ensures that each student participates in various capacity-building activities, including guest lectures, workshops, industrial visits, and exhibitions. These activities provide practical learning experiences, enhancing students’ educational journey and professional preparedness.
