Foundation Course – Other languages

Four Foundation Language courses – Tamil, Hindi, Sanskrit, and French are offered in the first year for all undergraduate programs and for few programs in the second year. The Foundation courses promote critical thinking, humanistic values, connectivity amongst cultures and linguistic competence, through its courses in the domain of literature and language. It aims to equip students with modular language skills and train them to develop professional standards of communication across various disciplines. Language study also provides exciting opportunities for students to study and work in sectors such as travel and tourism, diplomatic services, education, corporate world, entertainment, communications and many more.
